The Mission Statement
Carlsbad Wave Football Club is a soccer organization for the children of Carlsbad and North San Diego County. We believe that every child should have a chance to play the exciting game of soccer, no matter their age, skill level, or financial standing. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
Our organization is made up of two leagues: A recreational league – where every child has a chance to participate in the game of soccer. There are no try-outs. Teams are comprised of a wide variety of skill level, from beginner to advanced. Children from four years old through fourteen are invited to join our teams. This league is typically comprised of over 800 players during the fall soccer season. A competitive league – where experience, skill and enthusiasm are key factors. Players try-out for teams early in the year. Selected players take the game to a higher level of competition than is found in the recreational league. Practices are more rigorous and frequent. Games are more varied in time and location. Our teams have the opportunity to play in prestigious tournaments, due to the fine training they receive from an experienced group of coaches committed to the game of soccer. Carlsbad Wave F.C. competitive league currently has more than 200 players. Carlsbad Wave F.C. is a volunteer organization. We are looking for volunteers to assist us with building our Soccer Community. Join us!!
